Michael Dowling
With more than twenty five years in the business, Michael Dowling brings his level of expertise to developing riders. Michael, a professor of Equine Studies at Centenary College, also coaches the nationally ranked IHSA team. Windham Hill places an emphasis on horsemanship and developing thinking riders. Dowling's success is attributed to the forward riding system. Through a systematic approach in teaching and training, we incorporate flatwork and gymnastic work to develop and hone our rider's skills. This system has assisted Michael in qualifying riders for ASPCA Maclay Finals, USEF Pessoa Medal Finals, USET Finals, Young Riders, USEF Junior Hunter Finals, USEF Pony Finals and Indoors.
Michael Meyers
Michael Meyers joined Windham Hill in 2013, where he manages, rides and shows both client horses and young sales prospects. Michael schools, prepares and brings along both made and green horses, as well as assisting in educating students and giving them a solid foundation.
As a developing professional, Michael has shown in both the hunter and jumper rings with success, including wins and championships at top shows in the country.
In his years at Windham Hill, he has assisted riders and their horses qualify for ASPCA Maclay Finals, Dover Hunt Seat Medal Finals, Zone Finals, USEF Pony Finals, and Junior Hunter Finals.
